Children's art exhibition at Vinjesenteret

Welcome to the children's art exhibition at Vinjesenteret!

From Friday 27 October to Saturday 4 November, you can experience a children's art exhibition in the library at Vinjesenteret! Kindergarten children across the country have been invited to create works of art based on three children's books:
- Bålet by Trude Tjensvold
- Ulla by Anna R. Folkestad
- Jakob and Neikob and the Time Machine by Kari Stai

The kindergartens were sent one of the three books as a gift. The children created works of art based on the book and exhibited them in their local library. There have been formal openings of the exhibitions, with the kindergarten children, and in many places also mayors, in attendance. All the artworks are now being brought together in a single exhibition at the Vinje Center. Åmot kindergarten, which has participated in the project, will be present at the grand opening. The exhibition will be open to the public after the kindergarten visit. The project has been carried out in collaboration with the county and public libraries. It is the libraries that have disseminated information about the project to the kindergartens in their local area and carried out the implementation. The guidelines and book gifts have come from Nynorsk Kultursentrum.

There will be free admission for young and old to the exhibition at the Vinje Center these days! We will also have a drawing and reading station available with the books.

There are normal opening hours at the Wine Center on these days:
Sunday and Monday: Closed
Tuesday-Friday: 12.00 -15.00
Saturday: 12.00 - 17.00

Head to Vinjesenteret to see an imaginative and fun exhibition!
