The berry season begins gently in June with sweet, small field strawberries at the edge of the ditch. In July, the forest is bursting with blueberries and raspberries, and in August, the marshes glow yellow with juicy, ripe cloudberries. In early September, you should visit the harvesting areas for lingonberries. Give them a frosty night or two, as they taste extra good! Various species of mushrooms can also be found in Vinje's forests, but remember to read up on them first.
