Winter cycling in Øyfjell - Fatbike

In beautiful Øyfjell, just a short 15-minute drive from Åmot, there is a 5.4-kilometer long fat bike trail that takes you deep into the forest, where the snow is heavy on the branches and the road is wide and smooth. This amazing trail is maintained by dedicated local cycling enthusiasts, who volunteer to maintain it in order to share this unique experience with all interested parties. And best of all, the trail is free to use!

Length:  5.4 km

Start your adventure by parking at the village hall or school in Øyfjell. Cross the road and follow the farm road over the bridge, and you will quickly find the trail on the right-hand side.

Make sure to follow the dedicated bike path carefully and avoid disturbing the nearby ski trails.
