From Saturday, June 15, you can experience a lot of fun at Vinjesenteret.
- Take a guided tour of Vinjestoga! Every day until the end of the season on August 15, we offer guided tours of Vinjestoga, the childhood home of Aasmund Olavsson Vinje.
- Hike in the Fantasy Garden! 2. Classes from Vinje municipality have drawn pictures for books by Vegard Markhus, Maria Parr and Kari Stai, and the drawings are on display outside the Vinje Center.
- Experience Undreskogen! The library at Vinjesenteret will be transformed into an activity and adventure room this summer! Here you can crawl, read, jump, play and search! More information about Undreskogen coming soon.
- Chasing poles! There will be 3 poles around Vinjesenteret. Sign up at stolpejakten.no and join the hunt in Vinje municipality!
- Embroider big boy! Project Vinjerevla, in collaboration with Vinje Handverkslag, starts this summer in the basement of Vinjesenteret. Here YOU can help tell the story of Storegut by Aasmund Olavsson Vinje – with needle and thread!
Saturday, June 15 at 15. you can learn more about designer Tarjei Østrem Svalastog and embroidery maker Olav Rui. The wine tavern will be open to visitors Thursday-Sunday 11:30-14:00 throughout the summer. Welcome!
