Welcome to the children's art exhibition at Vinjesenteret!

From Friday 27 October to Saturday 4 November, you can experience a children’s art exhibition in the library at Vinjesenteret! Children from kindergartens across the country have been invited to create works of art based on three children’s books:
Bålet by Trude Tjensvold
Ulla by Anna R. Folkestad
Jakob og Neikob og Tidsmaskinen by Kari Stai

The kindergartens received one of the three books as a gift. The children created works of art based on the book and exhibited them in their local library. There have been formal openings of the exhibitions, with the kindergarten children and, in many places, mayors in attendance. All the artworks are now being brought together in one exhibition at Vinjesenteret. Åmot kindergarten, which has participated in the project, will be present at the grand opening. The exhibition will be available to the public after the kindergarten visit. The project has been carried out in collaboration with county and public libraries. The libraries have disseminated information about the project to the kindergartens in their local area and carried out the project. The guidelines and book gifts have come from Nynorsk Kultursentrum.

Admission to the exhibition at Vinjesenteret will be free for young and old alike these days! We will also have a drawing and reading station available with the books.

There are regular opening hours at Vinjesenteret these days:
Sundays and Mondays: Closed
Tuesday-Friday: 12.00 -15.00
Saturday: 12.00 – 17.00
