The Vinje Center is a national center for poetry and journalism based on the journalists and poets Aasmund Olavsson Vinje, Aslaug Vaa, Tarjei Vesaas and Halldis Moren Vesaas.
Guests gain insight into what poetry and journalism tell us about people and what it means for us. The center contains an exhibition with excerpts from books and journalism, pictures, quotes, great digital installations, games about source criticism, a children's trail, a children's wall, a reading corner and a book collection.
We also have simple refreshments at reception, and a small museum shop - welcome!
