The meir

Norway has historically had close ties to the islands "west of the sea" - the Faroe Islands, Shetland and Orkney - culture, nature and today's contact with the islands.

Jan Kløvstad knows them well, and will talk about Stone Age busts, Viking raids, cathedrals and war history. He also gives practical travel tips.

Jan Kløvstad is the former director of the Nordic House in the Faroe Islands, and has also spent time in Shetland and Orkney.
