The mountain peak Vehuskjerringa rises almost straight up from Åmot, and is 1356 meters high.
It is a relatively easy summit to reach with sturdy running shoes or hiking boots.
Activity information
Vehuskjerringa can be reached in several ways.
Starting from Mjåvasskaret on Fiskestigen (between Åmot and Øyfjell), the hike is about 8.1 km long.
Only the last 500 meters to the top are steep.
Plenty of space to park where the trail starts.
