Both the wild reindeer hunt (August 20 to September 30) and the deer hunt (September 1) have now started.
Small game hunting is approaching
(10.09), with subsequent moose hunting at the end of the month
(25.09).
We would therefore like to remind you of the leash requirement, as unleashed dogs that do not participate in the hunt can often disturb a hunting situation.
The ordinary curfew applies until August 20, but what perhaps not everyone knows is that Vinje has a local regulation that goes beyond the ordinary curfew time.

here. Hunters and hikers can use the same terrain, but if you see animals, it’s important to keep your distance and back off.
This will help keep the animals calm, or get in the way of the hunters.
