Vinje is rich in nature, with forests rich in both berries and mushrooms.
Activity information
The berry season begins gently in June with sweet, small field strawberries at the edge of the ditch.
In July, the forest bursts with blueberries and raspberries, and in August the marshes glow yellow with juicy, ripe cloudberries.
At the beginning of September, you should visit the harvesting areas for lingonberries.
Give them a frosty night or two, because they taste extra good!
