The poet’s home Midtbø is located by highway 134 in Vinje in Telemark.
Authors Halldis Moren Vesaas and Tarjei Vesaas lived here from 1934 to 1970, when Tarjei died.
Activity information
Halldis continued to live in Vinje and Oslo until she died in 1995.
Her descendants Guri and Olav Vesaas now run the farm and live here much of the time.
Since the summer of 2016, they have opened the farm to the public during the tourist season.
