Vinje offers more than 150 kilometers of groomed ski trails in Åmot, Våmartveit, Kostveit and Øyfjell – from easily accessible rural rounds to large, coherent trail networks in open winter landscapes.
In Åmot and Hyllandsheia, Vinje IL operates around 43 km of ski trails and Vinje Løypelag operates 48 km of trails in Våmartveit and Kostveit. Øyfjell has the largest network of trails, with around 70 km of groomed trails operated by Øyfjell Raudsinutan Løypelag.
In the same municipality is also Rauland and Haukeli – two of the largest and most established ski and winter destinations in the region, with extensive cross-country ski trails, alpine facilities and safe snow conditions throughout the winter.
