Øyfjell bygdemuseum has a rich collection of travel cabinets, costumes, rose measurements, household utensils and various knick-knacks. Among other things, you can see Norway's largest beer hen.

The museum building is very special. Built in wedge-shaped granite, it was constructed in 1931 to last forever. The museum also has a farmyard with several older buildings. Some of them house seasonal activities and exhibitions. In 2022, a new café building opened in the yard.
Season June 25 - August 15.
Guided tours for groups can be arranged throughout the year, if weather conditions permit.
