If you're coming from the east or west along the E-134, you should take a break at Mjonøy in Vinje. Our wood-fired bakery is very popular, and is open from Easter through the fall holidays.
You can visit our self-service bakery and help yourself to large, tempting skillets or bread from the wood-fired stone oven.
During the summer months, our café is open every day, with our very popular Mjonøyburger on the menu. Here you can get a real home-made snack. Much of it is based on local ingredients from Telemark.
If you want to stay longer, we have cabins that cover all kinds of needs, as well as a small campsite at the top of the site.
Elvane Klevastøylåi and Smørkleppåi run around Mjonøy and form an island that you hear in the name. They run slowly past and lull you to sleep.
